It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:44-49
He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: Numbers 24:4
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24
Notice in the last verse the word spirit is used twice. The first time it is used it speaks of the Holy Spirit which is why it is capitalized. The second time it is used, this verse speaks of our spirit as it is lowercase. This verse also clearly shows our spirit performing an action. It is our spirit that must worship the Lord. This means we, today and not only in the days of the first apostles, must worship the Lord in the spiritual realm with our spirits. Our spirit is speaking, worshipping, walking, talking, fighting and so much more whether we choose to accept it or not. with that information clearly laid out in scripture, why would anyone want their spirit doing anything with out seeing? Why would anyone want to remain blind to the spirit realm? Many have been led to believe all things of the spirit realm are witchcraft and this is a grave error in the body of Christ. we clearly see here that Jesus Christ Himself commands us to operate in the spirit realm by performing worship. Now we know from 1 John that if we love Him we will follow His commandments.
How do we know we are supposed to see in the spirit realm as we operate? Scripture tells us that Elisha prayed for his servant's eyes to be opened that he could see the angel army that was there to fight for them. We know it's an army of angels in the spirit realm because Elisha could not ask an army of men to smite the army that had come against the city with blindness. Men are not capable of this. These were hosts of the Lord God.
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-18
You see many references in scripture that shows children of God seeing in the spirit realm and operating in it. We have already shown that Jesus commands us to do so. Scripture also tells us God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. He doesn't change. No where in scripture does it say miracles, signs, wonders, spiritual gifts, offices, and other gifts and abilities were purely for the days of the first 12 apostles. This is another error in the church that Satan has introduced into doctrine. The Lord tells us in scripture we can't possibly fathom all the mysteries He has to show us. Paul spoke of seeing and traveling to the 3rd heaven. This is possible because Jesus tore the veil not only to the temple but also between the spirit and natural realms when He was glorified.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 2Corinthians 3:16
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 2Corinthians 12:1-4
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Corinthians 2:4-14
Isaiah, John, Ezekiel, Daniel and all the prophets saw in the spirit realm. The whole book of Revelations is John being taken into the heavens to see a vision in the spirit realm of the future. The prophets spoke to angels which are in the spirit realm. There are many instances of this in scripture. For more read Isaiah 6:1-10, Luke 9:28-36, Ezekiel 36, Daniel 9:21-27, Daniel chapter 10 and I will stop there for time's sake. I pray that each of you will choose to not walk around blind and be in agreement with me when I ask this. Lord every one that reads this I ask that You open their spiritual eyes, the eyes of their heart Lord. Show them Your mysteries and the wonders You have created in the spirit realm as well as in the natural. Let them have eyes to see and ears to hear Lord and remove anything that will block their sight. Remove all doubt and unbelief Lord in Jesus Mighty name Amen and Amen.
