As believers we have been given weapons as well. Know your authority in Christ. Believers, that truly do what they are supposed to be doing, will be attacked by demons, the devil, witchcraft and other principalities, powers, and wicked rulers in high places. Do you know how to defend yourself? Do you know the battle has already been won, and that you just have to fight it? God equipped you with everything you need to do so. Scripture tells us we are given these things and that nothing will hurt us if we use that authority.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:9-13
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:3-4
We are soldiers and soldiers fight a battle. Our battle is with demons, fallen angels, and the devil. We fight defensively and offensively. It is not a battle in the flesh but a spiritual war that requires spiritual warfare. We have been given authority and the power of Jesus to fight this battle and nothing can hurt us if we use it because the victory was won on the cross. We can't lose as long as we show up and wield our weapons. We must stand and face the devil and his minions and send them fleeing. We should fear nothing but the Lord. We have the armor of God. When we experience a demonic attack, it should be rebuked and bound in the name of Jesus. We should lay hands on the sick, including ourselves, and declare healing by Jesus stripes (Isaiah 53:5) by using the Word of God. The Word is our sword, and faith is our shield(Ephesians 6:10-20). Plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, body, and soul for protection, healing, and to battle other attacks. Take this battle seriously. Don't ask God for things He has already given you the power to do yourself in Jesus name.
There are so many, including Christians, that think miracles only happened when the apostles walked the earth. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8). There is nothing different today than it was then. I have personally witnessed healings and the casting out of demons(Mark 16:17-18). It is amazing to see His glory and to be a vessel through which Jesus works. You can't do these things without faith. People say show me these things and then I will believe. God says believe and I will show you these things.
If you are being attacked and you are born-again and Spirit filled you have the authority and the responsibility to stand and fight back. The enemy will shoot fiery darts at you to attack with depression, doubt, condemnation, illness, anxiety, and much more. He will attack your faith, family, finances, body, and more. You have been given everything you need to stop it. Study the Word of God constantly so you know how to use your sword and know your identity and authority in Christ. Know the promises of God and exercise and walk in theses things. Remember anything you loose in heaven is loosed on earth and visa versa. Anything you bind on earth is bound in heaven and visa versa. You can bind the enemy or loose angels. You can plead the blood of Jesus. You can command demons to leave and stop attacking in the name of Jesus. You can declare the Word (scripture) over your life and walk in it. You can use prayer or praise and worship to keep the enemy at bay. You can rebuke an attack by demons in Jesus name or tell the devil himself and fallen angels "the Lord rebuke you." Jesus said that we would do the things He did here on earth and even greater things because he goes to the Father. He didn't tell us this to hear Himself talk.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14
This is because after Jesus ascended He sent the Holy Spirit. Once we are Spirit-filled, or received the baptism of the Holy Spirit (gift of the Holy Ghost), we have the same power within us to do the same miracles Jesus did. We will do greater things because we have much more than just three years to do them and many more believers carrying out the great commission. Take your stand on the promises of God. Defend yourselves in Jesus name against the wiles of the enemy. Don't let him have one more inch. Push him back and hold the line in Jesus mighty name. God bless you and may Jesus keep you.
