Why should we fear with God on our side? There are many verses that tell us not to be afraid, but also so many that tell us that the Lord will protect us from coming tribulation and our enemies in general. Of course you must be a spirit filled Christian and take shelter under His wing, but if you are a child of the one true King then you are protected.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in the darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 91No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 39:18But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:30-31And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience posses ye your souls. Luke 21:17-19
There are horribly hard times coming and quickly. Most aren't expecting to be here for tribulation, but you will be here. Scripture does not lie. If you are a born again spirit filled Christian, God will keep you from all the judgment of the wicked by wrapping you in His arms and under His wings. He will send leagues of angels to protect you. Not a hair on your head will come to harm. The only thing He doesn't promise to save us from is persecution, but that is a great honor. You will not perish from it though because you will live forever.
Whether it be the coming tribulation, or the battles we face everyday, you will never be defeated. Claim it aloud, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper." The Lord will keep you. He will give you strength. You will defeat the beasts and serpents and trample them down. You will not fall by the sword, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you. He says so. All you have to do is call on the Lord and ask Him to deliver you when you are in trouble. This doesn't mean that is the only time you call on Him. Don't wait until then. Call on Him now to praise and worship Him, to ask Him for protection and to show you what is coming. Call on Him now and ask Him for your marching orders. Ask Him how to prepare your house, what job He may need you to do to help other saints or deliver His word. He needs soldiers now. If you want Him to do for you, show Him you are His servant. There is a reason we are called servants, and our Master will not let harm come to us. Whom do you serve? Shout it to the mountain tops. I serve the most High, and praise His name.
