I am a daughter of the one true King. I am not ashamed of this. Those that call themselves Christians should never be ashamed of this. At this point everyone is saying they're not ashamed to belong to Jesus, but words mean nothing without action. What would you do in public to show Jesus you aren't ashamed to be His. Would you go and preach the gospel on the street? Would you tell your boss that Jesus loves them and is the only way to heaven? If someone said that anyone that proclaims Jesus will be thrown in jail, then said all those that call themselves Christian come forward, would you proudly step forward? If you were the only one, could you still do it or would you hide in shadows to save your skin? If your best friend was an athiest would you tell them that those that don't belong to Jesus get cast into the lake of fire? Could you speak the truth no matter what the world thought of you? If your parents told you to stop talking about Jesus or they would disown you, could you cut ties with them and just pray for them? What does it truly mean to not be ashamed of Jesus?

When we are truly not ashamed of Jesus, we spread the gospel far and wide. We proclaim it proudly. Everyone in our lives knows we belong to Jesus and NOTHING will sway us. Everyone knows we put Him first above our parents, our children, our job, our friends and everything else. They know we will give up everything except Jesus. We do not care if we are politically correct if it violates being biblically correct. We do not care what the law is if it goes against God's Word.We do not care what science says if the bible says otherwise.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:24-26
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 10:32-39
Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Luke 9:22-26
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Mark 8:38
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. John 15:18-27
So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:15-16
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15-18
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:27
We are commanded to all preach the gospel, fulfill the great commission, declare the name of Jesus, teach what He has commanded, and not be ashamed of Him. We are to proclaim to all nations the gospel , receive gifts from the Holy Spirit and use them, and come out of the world to be separate from it. We are to be prepared to forsake everything else if need be. That doesn't mean we will have to. Ultimately Christ must be the most important thing in our lives, even more important than our very life itself. Jesus doesn't want weekend visits; He wants full custody. Speak His name boldly, and proudly. You are a child of the Most High God. Own it! Live it ! Be it, unconditionally and unshakably. Never be ashamed of who you are: washed in the Blood, redeemed, set free by the Son. God bless you and may Jesus keep you.
