Many have heard a lot of talk about the third temple. Most know how significant this would be to the Jewish people and Israel. In our love for Israel, as Christians, we want to believe this is an amazing accomplishment for the chosen people of God.
Do we really understand what a third temple means for the world as we know it according to prophecy? Exactly who is the third temple built for? How close are we to an actual third temple? All very important questions...Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Revelation 11:1-2 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Revelation 13:6
The temple will be built to worship God, Yahweh, but after a short time the antichrist will take over the temple and make it unholy. He will stop all worship of God in the temple and force everyone to worship him instead. This is better known as the abomination that causes desolation. The third temple must be built for the antichrist to rule and blaspheme God to fulfill prophecy. This begins the great tribulation.
So how close are we to that third temple? What has been done? What still needs to be done?

Basically, everything and everyone that goes in the temple is ready and awaiting the moment it is built. It is all in storage. This leads us to the things in the process of becoming ready. In order to purify everyone that will enter the temple, but most importantly the temple mount must be cleansed before the temple can be built and the altars etc. before use, they must sacrifice and burn a red heifer. Now they have the most important announcement since the Temple Institute began. The architectural plans for the third temple are underway. They know what it will look like and even have a virtual tour.
The third temple is closer than most think. It is very important in bible prophecy. The only problems that remain are money( which is easy) and the Dome of the Rock is currently in the way. This is a problem only God himself will be able to solve as it is an extremely important sight to all Muslims.
Keep your eye on the news and the Temple Institute in Jerusalem. It means more than most realize. When the temple is rebuilt, the antichrist won't be far behind.
