Dating Or What?

Simply put any sex outside of marriage is a sin. It is either fornication if you are not married or adultery if you are having sex outside of relations with your spouse. It doesn't matter if it is 2016. It doesn't matter if you live with your boyfriend or girlfriend. It doesn't matter if your church thinks it is acceptable, or if a lot of Christians are doing it. That is meant for your spouse and your spouse only. One cannot argue with scripture. Scripture plainly says that there is no place in the kingdom of God for fornicators, and that it is the worst thing you can do to your body. When you have that type of relationship outside of marriage you are creating an ungodly soul tie with that person. This opens doors for demonic attack or even possession/oppression. You violate the temple of God, your body, and disgrace the sanctity of marriage. There is only one answer and that is to repent. Repent doesn't just mean to ask forgiveness but also to change your mind and/or turn and go the other way. In other words you must ask forgiveness and confess this sin to the Lord as well as stop the sinful action and live a holy life. God will not tolerate willful sinning in the body of Christ because someone thinks they are above the rules (Word of God). We must not under any circumstances be involved in fornication. If we have we must repent, confess that sin to the Lord, and turn back to Him. Then we must go and sin no more.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.              1 Corinthians 6:13

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.  Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.   1 Corinthians 6:15-20

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.  1 Corinthians 7:1-2

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.     Hebrews 13:4 

 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.    Galatians 5:19-21

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.                   Revelation 21:8

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:    1 Thessalonians 4:3

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,  For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;  According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.                                   1 Timothy 1:9-11

Scripture clearly tells us not to be involved in fornication in any way. Fornication is sex outside of marriage of any kind. We are to flee fornication or be judged by the law. This means you can't be a Christian that is in good standing with the Lord and be regularly involved in fornication. If you are a Christian involved in regular fornication then you are in a lukewarm state. Jesus says if we are found lukewarm He will spue (vomit) us out of His mouth (the body of Christ). In other words we will lose our salvation and be thrown into the lake of fire. That is why we must repent of it and stop. Many people, especially today don't want to hear this truth. They want to be told what they believe is the truth. We cannot change the bible to fit the way we live, but instead must change the way we live to fit the bible, God's Holy Word. Please abstain from fornication in any form. Wait until you're married. It will be well worth it. God bless you and may Jesus keep you.

  2. Yes. All sex outside of marriage is fornication and a sin. Anyone can date but dating doesn’t include a sexual relationship. That is for marriage. Scripture says if we cannot remain alone to marry.

    Yes brother. They do. Scripture says if we can’t handle being alone and our spouse dies when we are not in our old age we should remarry so we do not sin.
